Last night in Clubhouse I yet again learn many new things.
AVOCADO!
we ACTUALLY have avocado plantation here in Malaysia! Quality is great BUT supply is limited. Yet again we are paying super expensive imported piece.
Lesson I learn from Mr. Raymond Lee, is that fruit is best when it's ripe on tree same goes to avocado. YES avocado is a FRUIT.
Many times I thought i got a bargain with the avocados, ended up bought 3, only 1 can be eaten and ripe nicely. Why? Because many are imported either from Indonesia or Philippine. Due to the logistics fruit is being pluck early for transportation. Those from Australia more expensive and better in texture because you are paying for their AIR ticket too.
Now you are wondering how about the Avocado grown in Malaysia! They are creamy and great... though i've yet to try due to the short supply over in Sabah. I get to learn about the texture is magnificent from a fellow sabahan Rebecca that share her experience eating it.
So I am here in Selangor waiting for a chance to taste the exquisite Malaysian grown avocado. I truly hope our government will look into helping out these farmers and boost the production for us over in Selangor to get a taste at least!
We know every household sure there's at least 1 avocado lover!
Do we live to eat OR Eat to live!
