Do you know that now you can apply insurance for your unborn baby from 14 weeks gestation.

Do you even wonder WHY GET SO EARLY?

Here let me share a few pointers why is it advisable;

  • When baby is born, there is no waiting period to worry.

Remember when you bought your first coverage the agent will inform you about the waiting period?

What is waiting period? - Waiting period is a span of time in which you cannot claim some or all the policy benefits from the insurer. The duration of the waiting period and its terms and conditions vary according to the policy and benefit type. Thus, it is essential to understand the duration and terms of the waiting period stated in your policy contract.

  • When baby is born he or she is automatically covered.

Have you heard how many baby is born with sickness? Jaundice is one common scenario among us Asian. Do you know when one has a condition to apply for insurance coverage especially for medical is not easy? In WHO website, there is an article NEARLY 30 MILLION SICK AND PREMATURE NEWBORNS.

  • Protect both mother and foetus

Protect both mother and foetus with coverage like Pregnancy Care Benefit that covers against possible pregnancy complications before birth, while Child Care Benefit would provide coverage from incubation to hospitalisation due to selected congenital conditions including neonatal jaundice as well as other congenital conditions up to age 5.
